St. AndrewÂs has the privilege of providing the meal on October 11 and we welcome all who want to participate. Jeff Graham is our contact person for this outreach jgraham807@yahoo.com

At this point we donÂt have enough volunteers for serving and clean up. Please donate an evening of your time for this community event: serving dinner at 5 pm, and clean-up beginning about 6 pm.

If you are unable to participate, we are accepting donations to defray the costs. Just put Friendship Dinner on the memo line of your check made payable to St. AndrewÂs.

Centering Prayer

Tuesdays at 2:00

Please join us in your own space for centering prayer this week for peace and quiet.

Wednesday Holy Eucharist - Â 11 am

Robert Grosseteste, Bishop, 1253

Upon his death, Grosseteste was almost universally revered as a saint in England, with miracles reported at his shrine and pilgrims to it granted an indulgence by the bishop of Lincoln. Several successive Bishops of Lincoln, the University of Oxford, and Edward I all attempted to get a secure a formal papal canonization. The attempts to have him canonized were unsuccessful and it is believed to be because of his opposition to Pope Innocent IV. The reason for this also seems to be because it was rumored that Grosseteste's ghost was responsible for the death of the Pope.

Choir Practice

Wednesdays at 6:30 pm

The choir sounded great on Sunday, their first day back after the summer hiatus. Always room for more voices, though.

OKTOBERFEST

Sunday, October 27 (after the 10:00 service)

Fellowship invites you to an afternoon of good food, amazing prizes, and great company.

There will be raffles for great prizes, although the winner must be present to win.

If the weather is mild (or if you are especially hearty), you are welcome to wear lederhosen.

Ways to Worship with Us

Wherever you are in your journey of faith, you are welcome at the Lord's Table. For those who cannot attend in person, the service is offered via livestream on our Facebook page or anytime on our website.

St. AndrewÂs Sunday Worship - 8 am and 10 am. Â Nursery care available 9 - 11 am.
In Forks at St. Swithin's - Â Each Sunday at 2:30 pm - We meet at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church for Holy Eucharist or Prayer.
Mid-week Worship Service each Wednesday in person at 11 am.
