I heard the sighing of the reeds
In the grey pool in the green land,
The sea-wind in the long reeds sighing
Between the green hill and the sand.

I heard the sighing of the reeds
Day after day, night after night;
I heard the whirring wild ducks flying,
I saw the sea-gull's wheeling flight.

I heard the sighing of the reeds
Night after night, day after day,
And I forgot old age, and dying,
And youth that loves, and love's decay.

I heard the sighing of the reeds
At noontide and at evening,
And some old dream I had forgotten
I seemed to be remembering.

I hear the sighing of the reeds:
Is it in vain, is it in vain
That some old peace I had forgotten
Is crying to come back again?

Consecration and Ordination of Bishop-Elect LaBelle

Saturday, 9/14 at 11 am

Meydenbauer Center, Bellevue

The service is open to all. You can find an invitation and aÂ link to RSVP here. The Most Rev. Michael B Curry will be the chief consecrator and the Rev. Dr. Philip LaBelle with preside at the Eucharist. The event will be live-streamed (details to come). The service will last about two and half hours. Childcare will be available. Sunday Morning Book Study ~ The Path

Sundays at 9 am beginning October 6

The Path, a journey through the Bible is the story of the Bible, excerpted from the New Revised Standard Version so that it is clear and easy to read.Â By beginning in October, our study of Genesis will coincide with our Creation season. Please order your copy of the book from Foward Movement, Port Book and News (or Amazon).

Memorial Service - Jennifer Brodie

The family of Jennifer Brodie wish to extend an invitation to all of us at St. AndrewÂs to join them in honoring the life of Jennifer who passed away early Sunday morning on August 3.

The service will be at St. AndrewÂs on Saturday, September 28 at 11:00 in the morning.

Holy Trinity Youth Choir

Beginning September 18

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is thrilled to announce the second year of the Young Voices Choir, a lively and engaging program for children ages 4-10. Starting September 18th, this weekly Wednesday choir (4:00 pm - 4:45 pm) promises a vibrant introduction to music through exciting games and interactive learning. Kids will dive into singing, pitch matching, and rhythm while developing essential life skills. With a fun-filled fall season culminating in a festive Christmas Pageant, this is the perfect opportunity for young musicians to shine. Parents are invited to join the first rehearsal and are welcome to drop in anytime. In Forks at St. Swithin's - Â Each Sunday at 2:30 pm - We meet at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church for Holy Eucharist or Prayer.
Mid-week Worship Service each Wednesday in person at 11 am.
