May the angels of light

glisten for us this day

May the sparks of GodÂs beauty

dance in the eyes of those we love.

May the universe

be on fire with Presence for us this day.

May the new sunÂs rising

grace us with gratitude.

Let EarthÂs greenness shine

and its water breathe with Spirit.

Let heavenÂs winds stir the soil of our soul and fresh awakenings rise within us.

May the mighty angels of light

glisten in all things this day.

May they summon us to reverence,

may they call us to life.

First United Methodist Church - 110 E. Seventh St., Port Angeles

St. AndrewÂs is responsible for preparing, serving, and cleaning up this Friday. Jeff Graham is coordinating with the folks at the Methodist church and leading the St. AndrewÂs volunteers. More volunteers are needed. There are 3 shifts for volunteering:

3:00 - 5:30 - Preparing food, setting tables, etc.
5:00 - 6:30 - Serving the meal and starting clean up
6:00 - 7:30 - Clean up

Kateri Takakwitha, Lay Contemplative, 1680

St. Kateri Tekakwitha was the first Native American saint in the United States and Canada. She was a Mohawk woman who lived from 1656 to 1680. She was born to an Algonquin mother and a Mohawk chief in the Mohawk village of Ossernenon in upstate New York.

Pope Benedict XVI canonized her on Oct. 21, 2012. She is the patroness of ecology and the environment, as well as people in exile and Native Americans. She is often called ÂLily of the Mohawks.Â

Ways to Worship with Us

Wherever you are in your journey of faith, you are welcome at the Lord's Table. For those who cannot attend in person, the service is offered via livestream on our Facebook page or anytime on our website.

St. AndrewÂs Sunday Worship - 8 am and 10 am. Sunday School at 9 am. Nursery care available 9 - 11 am.
In Forks at St. Swithin's - Â Each Sunday at 2:30 pm - We meet at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church for Holy Eucharist or Prayer.
Mid-week Worship Service each Wednesday in person at 11 am.
