Wine Sundays

September is Wine Sunday Month.
Please bring in a bottle or two of Fairbanks Port this Sunday.
We've gotten a few bottles but not enough to fill the cupboard yet. This wine is for our Eucharistic celebrations throughout the year.

Blessing of the Animals

It's that time already! Our annual, very fun, event of blessing the animals will be October 2, following our services of Holy Eucharist, under the portico.
Honoring St. Francis and his deep love of animals and all of creation, we will ask God's blessing on those animals entrusted to our care. Invite your friends and neighbors.

Centering Prayer

We meet in the sanctuary at 4:00 on Tuesdays.
Join us in-person or in your own space resting in the presence of God.

This is not
the age of information.
This is *not*
the age of information.
Forget the news,
and the radio,
and the blurred screen.
This is the time
of loaves and fishes.
People are hungry,
and one good word is bread
for a thousand.

Wednesday Worship

11:00 am Holy Eucharist

This week we commemorate John Coleridge Patteson, Bishop, & his Companions, Martyrs, 1871
Patteson grew up in Devon but travelled to Melanesia as a Christian missionary in 1855 and became the first Bishop of Melanesia. He was later murdered but the church he created lives on. Christians in Melanesia still revere him as a martyr and the Diocese of Exeter retains close links with the Anglican Province of Melanesia.
